Before I tell you about us, let me tell you about me. My name is Mike Harvan, and I’ve been using metal detectors as a hobbyist since 1978. I have owned several detectors over the years, each one more sophisticated and better than the previous one.
Prior to 1978, I lived in Missouri for a period of time. I became interested in spelunking and explored several wild caves. It was thrilling exploring caves because I never knew what cool feature I would find just around the next bend. It is that same excitement that motivates my metal detecting hobby–you never know what you might find just below the surface of the earth.
